The TCPIP Converter provides TCPIP functionality to older style Netcard terminals - such as non-TCPIP CCU-5, CCU-5R, CP500 and HF500 series terminals. This removes the need for additional RS232 cabling installation if the terminal were to be relocated. The TCPIP Converter can be installed to take advantage of existing Ethernet infrastructure. This allows for older Netcard terminals to be moved to anywhere that offers ethernet network access. Additionally, the TCPIP converter can be configured to use wireless technology, removing the need for specialised cabling altogether. |
